Congratulations to Amanda LaRoe who received $1000 from The Young Farmer Scholarship Fund which is derived from a portion of proceeds of the Young Farmer Charity Golf Scramble.

Amanda shared this about her scholarly pursuits and future plans:

“I am attending Northwest Iowa Community College. I am currently completing a two-year, online program in the Agriculture college. In two years, I will earn my associate degree in agriculture science. My future plan is to major in crop and soil management or farm management. I want to continue having an active role in my local agriculture community. I also plan to one day have my own farm; possibly specializing in feeder calves and beef cows. Thank you to the Young Farmers of Washtenaw Farm Bureau for helping to support my educational efforts.”
